Some friends and I were planning a canoeing expedition somewhere in northwest Canada or Alaska, and I got in touch with Mr. Sanger through email. He quoted me a $450 price for canoe rental from Eagle to Circle City, Alaska, but flatly refused to discuss transportation from Circle City back to Eagle, recommended that we buy expensive plane tickets to make the return trip, refused to discuss the possibility of our being transported back along with his boats (which has been my standard experience with canoe rentals), and became strangely rude and hostile in the process. I'm not sure if he has come kind of arrangement with an individual in Circle City who provides return transport, but just be aware that return transport to Eagle WILL be an issue, possibly more than doubling the cost of your expedition, and also that this individual can be rather prickly.
